MediaTone Music hired us to produce a collection of novelty instrumental music for their Studio Cutz library, specifically composed and produced to enhance visual and audio productions such as video, TV, radio, film, multimedia, on-hold service, and more.
Industrival (industrial + carnival), composed, performed, and recorded by Bart Elliott, is a metallic, mechanized sounding Samba Batucada score, inspired by Carnival of Brazil. Bart made use of an assortment of cymbals and gongs performed on various membranophones, plus various found metal objects such as a cluster of stacked license plates and more! In addition, the composition incorporates a number of syncopated rhythmic stylings along with polyrhythms and metric modulations.
While this particular piece didn't make it into the client's music library collection with our other compositions, we are still very proud and pleased to showcase it here.
